The Sonora High School senior won CIF Southern Section individual titles in the 200-yard and 500 freestyle events two years ago, in her sophomore season.     La Salle baseball: Parisi out, McKiernan in as head coach

    It didn’t take the La Salle High School baseball program long to find a new baseball coach. The Lancers have turned to former Monrovia standout Eddie McKiernan to replace Mike Parisi, who was fired last week after two seasons at the school. McKiernan’s name still holds heavy weight in the area due to his strong prep career at Monrovia. But the 28-year-old has only one year of coaching experience and that was as an assistant at Monrovia last season.
